What is the lifespan of your hair extensions?

The lifespan of your hair extensions largely depends on how well they are maintained. With proper care, they can last several years (sometimes more than 4 years). To preserve their shine, luster, shape, and style, we highly recommend using our satin storage bags.

It's important to gently brush your hair extensions before and after each use to prevent breakage and shedding. Start brushing from the ends and work your way up to the roots for best results.

How do I take care of my hair extensions?

Our hair extensions are low-maintenance, making them easy to brush and detangle with gentle care. Keeping your extensions moisturized and nourished is essential to preserve their beauty and extend their lifespan. Consistent care is recommended to maintain their quality, treating them with the same attention as your own natural hair.

We recommend washing and conditioning every ten days, gently detangling the hair—preferably while damp. Allow the extensions to air-dry flat whenever possible, and minimize the use of heat to protect the hair fiber. Finally, do not stretch your wigs if you wish to avoid enlarging the cap, as this may alter their original fit and shape.

Can I dye, use heat or wet my hair extensions?

Our extensions are crafted from 100% human Raw hair, allowing you to dye them up and use hair products, water, and heat. It is the best quality on the market.

However, we advise against swimming or sleeping with your hair extensions as it may cause discomfort.

To preserve the natural texture and extend the lifespan of your extensions we strongly recommend avoiding heat styling as much as possible.

Heat, bleach, and chemicals are not forbidden, but they significantly reduce longevity and may alter the fiber.

Fama Hair Couture cannot be held responsible for damage caused by heat, bleach, color services, or any alteration of the natural texture.

Our hair extensions are suitable for both beginners and experts. We specialize in designing innovative products that are easy to apply, whether you're doing it yourself or with professional assistance.

Shipping

What is the typical shipping timeframe?

We are doing everything we can to pamper each of you and handle every order with the utmost care. At Fama Hair Couture, every detail matters, and we want to offer you an exceptional experience. 

PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIME

Processing:
Order processing: 7 to 12 business days before shipping, to ensure meticulous attention to every order. (may be reduced to 1–2 business days during certain periods)

Standard shipping: 
5 to 7 business days after shipment

Express shipping:
1 to 3 business days after shipment

IMPORTANT - SHIPPING ≠ PROCESSING TIME
All orders require a signature upon delivery. No refunds will be issued for refused or unclaimed packages.

Processing time is the time needed to prepare your order before it is shipped (order verification, quality control, packaging). No order is shipped before this step is completed. Standard processing time: 7–12 business days before shipment, depending on demand (may be reduced to 1–2 business days during certain periods).

Shipping time refers only to the delivery transit time after the order has been prepared and dispatched, according to the shipping method selected at checkout.

Returns

Can I return my order?

In accordance with current legal provisions, the Customer has a period of 5 days days from the receipt of the Product to exercise his right of withdrawal from the Seller, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties, for the purpose of refund, provided that the Products are returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition, without undue delay and at the latest within 5 days following the notification to the Seller of the Customer's decision to withdraw.

Returns must be made in their original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) allowing them to be put back on the market in new condition, accompanied by the purchase invoice.

Damaged, soiled, or incomplete Products will not be accepted.

In the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal within the aforementioned period,only the price of the purchased Product or Products will be refunded. Delivery costs, as well as any taxes and customs fees associated with returns,are the responsibility of the customer. Once the customer has notified his intention to return the product by email, a DHL return label will be sent to him to facilitate the return procedure. The refund will be adjusted by deducting the cost of the return as well as customs and tax fees from the initial amount of the order. We are unable to predict in advance the amount of any customs fees, taxes, and shipping costs. The cost will be determined upon arrival of the package at our warehouses. Customs duties and taxes are not automatically charged; an estimate of the shipping costs will be communicated to you by email. The invoice will include the cost of the return as well as any customs and tax fees, in the event that the customer resides internationally and chooses our DHL business partner for the return. However, the customer is free to select his own return method while bearing the costs of taxes and customs that apply to him. The refund of the total amount of the initial order will be made upon receipt of the package, provided that all accessories and products are intact. We take no responsibility in case of loss of the package during its delivery.The refund will be made within fourteen (14) days from the notification to the Seller of the withdrawal decision, subject to the proper receipt by the Seller of the returned Products.

I have not received my refund yet.

All refunds are processed within 14 business days. After your items undergo quality checks, the refund may take a few days to reflect in your account, depending on your card issuer.

My items are lost or stolen. How do I get a refund?

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Customers must file a claim directly with DHL or the appropriate shipping company. For refund inquiries, customers should promptly contact the company and follow their procedures for potential refunds.

You can contact us via email at info@famahaircouture.com. If your package has not yet been shipped, we can still accommodate changes or cancellations to your order.

Unfortunately, we are unable to modify or cancel orders once they have been shipped. If you decide you no longer wish to keep your order for any reason, please refer to our returns policy here for more details.
